Over the last couple of weeks

Frank O'Donnell holds his hand to his heart as the bugler plays "Taps" at the conclusion of the plaque dedication in honor of his grandfather, Vincent O'Donnell, a police officer who was killed on September 26, 1929 in the line of duty. The plaque was dedicated outside of the 39th Police District on Thursday April 28.

An auction was held at Kristy's Diner on Torresdale Avenue on Wednesday April 27. The winning bid went for $121K.
