Settlement Music School

Kevin Bacon and his older brother Michael hosted a press event for Settlement Music School's 100th anniversary. This assignment kinda made me feel like a member of the paparazzi.

Town Meeting_2

Betty Ann Clark is a member of Mothers in Charge, a group of women who lost their children to violence. Clark's son Timmy was killed 6 months ago by a repeat offender. Her question for Chief of Police Charles Ramsey was "why are these people still out on the street committing crimes?"

Town Meeting

Carolyn Scratchard asks Philadelphia Police Cheif Charles Ramsey about properly training dispatchers. Scratchard had a problem with the way a dispatcher handled her complaint. Ramsey is hosting "community meetings" throughout the city as a means of reaching out to people's thoughts and expectations of the police department.

Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter delivers a speech after being sworn into office. He declared that this is a "new Philadelphia".

Going Back to Iraq


Ryan Bowman sits in his Mayfair home with his bag packed and uniform ready. Bowman was home for a two week leave of duty before he returned to Iraq to spend Christmas with his wife and 2 year old son.
