Every day, a large crowd of day laborers congregate in the parking lot of Home Depot in the Summerdale section of Philadelphia. A lot of these laborers come from quite a distance in search of work(we talked to some who had made the journey from South Philly, Bensalem, and even West Chester). A good amount originate from Mexico, but a good number are from South American countries such as Guatemala, Chile, Ecuador, and Argentina. These workers arrive as early as 5:30 in the morning and wait all day for a contractor to pick them up.

Hi Jenny! Sorry its been forever since leaving you feeback. I love this story! Are you still working on it? If not I would try to follow the workers around and see more of what life is like for them...very intresting!
