Below are some images I shot for the Star/Home News. They were putting together a Dining Guide including Deuce, Taco Riendo, and Umai Umai among others.
I wanted to experiment a little with lighting and get an almost softbox-esque affect. I bought tracing paper from AC Moore and taped 4 pieces together and hung them from the ceiling. The paper is on 3 sides of the subject : left, right, and behind. I then set up a metalic work light that I got from Home Depot and shined it into the paper on the left side of the subject. I think it maintained a nice natural light affect. I will be doing more with this, these images are more of rough sketches to flush out some ideas.
